We had some seriously good times this weekend. On Friday we had dinner with friends who are visiting from Spain. Then on Sunday we spent the day with the cousins. Dashiell and Will spent the whole day I their spiderman costumes. And Dashiell drive the little gator! Esme got a new hand-me-down doll from cousin Abby.
Oh, and Dashiell started drawing this new kind of map.
We had a great, rainy morning in the woods this Sunday. We drove out to the home of James Audubon, who was a naturalist best known for his paintings of birds. The property rests along the Perkiomen Creek. It was so lovely! The best part was finding leaves along the creeks edge that were just covered with frog eggs. So cool. We stomped in the streams and got nice and wet in out crocs.
We finished up with a picnic lunch in the pavilion. We’ll definitely go back again.
Dashiell and I were talking about blood vessels and the heart this evening. We found a neat little animation showing how our blood moves through the body while using oxygen and carrying carbon dioxide. Dashiell says “This is so cool!”
