D loves Silverstein’s Don’t Bump the Glump. Its just a little scary, fun to read and the images are magical. They are watery, alive and sometimes just half there. So he decided we should make our own version. We worked together for a few hours. We started with felt-tip pen to make our drawing. Then we filled in with water color. Sometimes we passed our work back and forth– collaborating on a single page. After they started to dry we went back through and D narrated while I scribed the text. E joined us and made her own– both images and words.
